Key Responsibilities
- Ensure optimum performance of the Common Plant.
- Initiate investigations into complex engineering problems within the plant.
- Ensure plant availability and reliability through initiating and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain operating instructions, workflow and technical specifications for plant and equipment.
- Design engineering modifications to plant and equipment.
- Monitor the effective implementation of contracts and projects within the plant.
- Determine the causes and effects of plant failures and provide engineering and economic solutions.
- Ensure all project work is carried out in accordance with quality standards and project processes.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Postgraduate qualification such as an MBL, MBA or equivalent.
- Membership of a recognised professional institution.
- 8 years relevant experience, of which 5 years should be at senior level.
