The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) invites applications from qualified, experienced, honest, and self-motivated persons for appointment to the above mentioned post in the Revenue Assurance (RA) division.

To identify, assess, and investigate potential threats and risks to revenue and revenue flows with a view to ensure compliance and revenue collection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct investigations in line with stipulated procedures as guided by the Revenue Assurance framework.
  • Collect and analyse financial and legal in respect to revenue flows, non-compliance and revenue risk in the assigned sector.
  • Research, analyse, and report on assigned sector.
  • Investigate, report, and make recommendations on revenue streams and processes.
  • Implement strategies to manage and mitigate revenue risks identified through investigations.
  • Collaborate with industry players, subject matter experts and institutions for intelligence collection and investigation.
  • Maintain accurate investigation records and evidence.
  • Stay-informed on trends, challenges, and opportunities in the assigned sector.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A degree in Accounting, Auditing, Law, Economics, Business Studies, Commerce, Taxation, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Sciences, or a relevant discipline. A postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
  • At least 2 years’ post-graduate experience preferably in revenue, audit, tax administration, fraud and investigations, accounting, or compliance.
  • Analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
