Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the organization’s vision, mission, and strategic goals.
- Program Development: Design, promote, and evaluate programs supporting women entrepreneurs.
- Financial Management: Oversee financial health, ensuring sustainable growth and effective resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients, partners, donors, and regulatory bodies.
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a diverse team, fostering an inclusive and empowering culture.
- Advocacy: Represent ZWMB at industry events, advocating for women’s empowerment and access to finance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Management, Technology, or related discipline.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification (required).
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in financial services, with at least 5 years at executive leadership level.
- Proven track record in leading large, complex organizations or business units.
- Demonstrated success in strategy execution, transformation, and profitability growth.
- Developmental Finance: Experience in designing financial interventions for disadvantaged groups, such as rural populations and women.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse stakeholders.
- A passion for social impact and a commitment to the mission of empowering women
