Role Overview:
Support the Rail Operations Manager in coordinating and supervising rail logistics. Ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient operations while enhancing customer satisfaction and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor rail operations across terminals
- Provide daily updates and transit loss reports
- Reconcile freight accounts and manage rail costs
- Engage with NRZ, NOCZIM, and host railroads
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
- Solve logistical challenges and support growth initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in Logistics or related field (preferred)
- 3-5 years’ experience in rail or transport logistics
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics systems
- Knowledge of rail regulations and HSE principles
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused
- Able to manage pressure and multiple priorities
