Job Title: Senior Product Specialist – Plumbing (Grade D1)
Role Purpose:
An opportunity for internal candidates to contribute to Electrosales through expert sourcing, pricing, technical support, and lifecycle management of plumbing products.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new plumbing products and evaluate suppliers through technical assessment and market research.
- Secure favorable supplier agreements ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and continuity of plumbing items.
- Collaborate with Purchasing team to ensure accurate ordering and optimal stock levels.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to determine pricing for plumbing ranges.
- Provide sales teams with technical product training on pipes, fittings, valves, pumps, geysers, and related plumbing systems.
- Support branches with product knowledge, promotional materials, and merchandising guidance.
- Assist contractors and customers with plumbing-related product queries and after-sales support.
- Monitor sales movement, product returns, and customer feedback for plumbing categories.
- Maintain return rates by investigating product faults and recommending corrective actions.
- Prepare sales and turnover reports to identify high-demand plumbing lines.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a similar position.
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Construction, Plumbing Technology, or related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems, fittings, and related components.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to train sales teams and interact with customers and suppliers professionally.
