The Premier Soccer League (PSL) is seeking a dynamic and visionary Marketing Manager to join its Executive Management Team. Reporting to the PSL Chief Executive Officer, the role will lead the League’s marketing, commercial growth, brand positioning, and fan engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and implements a comprehensive marketing and commercial strategy aligned to the PSL’s strategic plan.
- Identifies, negotiates, and manages sponsorships and strategic partnerships.
- Drives brand management, promotional campaigns, and advertising initiatives.
- Develops commercial revenue streams, including merchandising, licensing, and advertising.
- Oversees digital platforms, ticketing systems, and fan engagement initiatives.
- Manages the Marketing Department’s budget, resources, and performance.
- Ensures compliance with football governing bodies and local regulatory requirements.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with sponsors, stakeholders, and partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Master’s Degree and/or Sports Administration qualification will be an added advantage.
- Proven marketing experience, preferably within a sports-related organisation.
- Knowledge of the Zimbabwean football landscape will be an added advantage.
- Strategic thinking and commercial acumen

- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Brand management and sponsorship development expertise
- Digital marketing and fan engagement capability
- Financial planning and budget management skills
- Results-driven with strong analytical ability
