Job Purpose
The System Development Specialist is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This incumbent participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the function and is responsible for ensuring that systems hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent. A relevant vocational qualification will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Systems development methodologies, Objected Oriented Language i.e. C#, Java, PHP, Windows and Linux operating system platforms.
• 2 to 4 years’ experience in a similar or related environment.
• Project leadership skills and good interpersonal skills with people at different levels of the organization
