JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for the printing process, machine setting, operation of the printing press and press quality control activities to meet City of Harare’s printing needs
KEY RESULT AREAS
- Setting of Litho Printing Machines
- Production of Lithographically printed jobs
- Printing machine Operation and minding
- Maintenance of printing machines
- Quality control on the printing operations
- Mentoring of Apprentices and semi-skilled employees
- Enforcement of Occupational Health and Safety Standards
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5 O’Levels including Maths and English
- National Craft Certificate in Printing Finishing
- Class One Journeyman Printer or Equivalent
- Have at least 10 years post qualification experience in the relevant field.
- A clean class 4 driver’s license
- Computer Literacy
