Skilled Worker – Printer 1948 views

JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for the printing process, machine setting, operation of the printing press and press quality control activities to meet City of Harare’s printing needs

KEY RESULT AREAS

• Setting of Litho Printing Machines
• Production of Lithographically printed jobs
• Printing machine Operation and minding
• Maintenance of printing machines
• Quality control on the printing operations
• Mentoring of Apprentices and semi-skilled employees
• Enforcement of Occupational Health and Safety Standards

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• 5 O’Levels including Maths and English
• National Craft Certificate in Printing Finishing
• Class One Journeyman Printer or Equivalent
• Have at least 10 years post qualification experience in the relevant field.
• A clean class 4 driver’s license
• Computer Literacy
