KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Undertaking unfair trade practice investigations and recommend remedial actions.
  • Undertake advocacy and awareness activities on Trade Defence Instruments at workshops
  •  Draft research and related papers on Trade Development Instruments
  • Attend business associations meetings and workshops on behalf Of the Division on trade remedies
  • Developing relations with stakeholders in appropriate government, parastatal, business and non-governmental organizations with regards to trade remedies
  • Draft articles on unfair trade practices related issues for publication in local newspaper
  • Any other relevant duties assigned from time to time by the Chief Investigator and or the Assistant Director

QUALIFICATIONS

  •  Bachelor Of Honours Degree in Economics/ Accounting/ Law
  • Masters Degree is an added advantage
  • At least 3 years working experience
