Applicants should have

  • A minimum of 5 ‘O’ Level passes at grade C or better including English Language and Mathematics.
  • Higher National Diploma in Professional Cookery.
  • At least 5 years relevant experience working in the Hospitality industry.
  • Class 1 certificate.

The incumbents will be required to

  • Compiling the menu with the assistance of the Assistant Director, Catering and the Cost Controller.
  • Securing the requested ingredients in the Chef’s Pantry and Cold room
  • Requesting the Stores the appropriate quantities of food and beverage items, taking into consideration the volume of business.
  • Managing Junior Cooks and Kitchen Porters on the meals to be prepared.
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Department’s Management.
