SECURITY MANAGER – Zimasco (Pvt) Limited

Reporting to the Head-Mining Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the Mining Division’s security operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Diploma in Security & Risk Management from a recognised tertiary institution
• At least 5 years post qualification experience in risk control and security operations management Should have demonstrable experience in security operational tactics, crime investigation and criminal justice systems
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Should have demonstrable working knowledge of health, safety and environmental management systems
• Computer literacy in Microsoft suites and an appreciation of an ERP System, such as SAP
• Clean Class 4 Driver’s licence.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Design, implement and manage security and risk control systems procedures
• Management of private security contract(s)
• Security sectional budgeting and cost control
• Analyse crime trends, monitor criminal intelligence and advise management on appropriate remedial action plans
• Liaison with both internal and external stakeholders on protection of company resources
