Junior Lecturer: Land Administration
Department: Land and Property Science
NUST is the host for the Network of Excellence on Land Governance in Africa (NELGA) and as such we are recruiting a junior academic to support local capacity development in land administration and property studies.
Requirements
Junior Lecturer: A Bachelor’s degree (NQF level 8) with at least two years of lecturing experience and/or an equivalent combination of relevant professional experience. Must have work experience with informal settlements and upgrading schemes, as well as the FLTS System. A record of community outreach programmes will be an advantage. Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and writing). Preference will be given to candidates who are registered/enrolled for a relevant Master’s degree.
Job Description
Lecturing undergraduate courses and provide undergraduate student research supervision as required. Conduct research in the area of specialisation and participate in DLPS research projects. Provide capacity building and outreach services in the field of expertise to the community. Play a supporting role in departmental and faculty governance, administration and planning
Lecturing, research, curriculum development, community service and administration.
