Human Resources Associate
• Process updates in the HRIS system, and manage employee changes
• Create and communicate offer letters to candidates
• Conduct new hire orientation, create onboarding folders, and complete new hire paperwork
• Manage employee questions on topics including payroll, benefits, leaves of absence and more
• Conduct pre-employment processes including background checks
• Ensure compliance with all necessary regulations
• Manage requests for verification of employment
• Maintain monthly reports
• Assist in the recruiting process, both for temporary and permanent employees, including resume review, pre-screening applicants, and scheduling on-site interviews
• Train employees on topics which may include benefits, safety, and ethics
• Assist in other projects as necessary
• Assist in planning and orchestrating meetings and events, including some calendar management
As an ideal candidate, you must have:
• Bachelor’s Degree (degree in HR, Business, Communications, or another related field is a plus) or Diploma in Personnel Management (IPMZ).
• 1-2 years of related human resources experience or administrative/office management experience preferred
• Bilingual in English/Spanish strongly preferred
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and self-motivated work style with ability to manage multiple projects
• Outstanding attention to detail & organizational skills
• A “people person” personality
• Proficiency in Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook
• Integrity, confidentiality and sound judgement
• Experience with an HRIS preferred
