Green Interns – BOOST Fellowship 2304 views

 

With support from UNICEF Zimbabwe, the BOOST Fellowship in partnership with the Business Council for Sustainable Development Zimbabwe (BCSDZ) is implementing a Green Jobs project under the GiHub phase III. This is a work readiness project which seeks to provide internship opportunities with the possibly of long term employment for University Students who have a strong academic interest and passion in Environmental Sustainability issues. The aim is to place students in organisations that have a commitment to the same and are working meaningfully towards the greening of their operations, processes and products or outputs where students can add value to this chain of operations and processes. The long term goal of this program is to create an awareness and commitment to developing more environmentally sustainable solutions for communities and enhancing the capacities of students to widen their knowledge base and innovations.

Qualifications desired

Must be a student at any institution of higher learning in Zimbabwe, studying towards a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following sectors such: Environmental Management, Safety Health and Environment Management, Natural Resources Management, Energy Management, Geography and Environmental Sciences.

Exceptional writing skills; Presentation Skills; Computer skills; Conscientious; Can work with very little supervision; Team player
