Graphics Designer & Video Producers – Internship

Purpose

To create graphic designs, video layout, art work, layouts and creative illustrations for use online, on mobile, TV and print media, TV and print media based on business needs, briefs, concepts and ideas premised.

Interpreting the business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose
Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research, thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts, using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time
Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos and websites, determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy and font style, format online mobile and prying production process and timescales
Preparing rough drafts and mock ups of material based on an agreed brief and presenting finalized ideas and concepts to internal teams, clients or account managers as well as reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required.
Estimating the time required completing the work and providing quotes for clients where necessary
Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief
Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches
Working on layouts and artwork to the overall brief
Demonstrating illustrative skills and with rough sketches
Working on layouts and art work and developing interactive designs f mobile websites
Working as part of a team with photographers, stylists, illustrators other designers, account executives, web developers and marketing and sales teams.
Liaising with the sales, marketing, developers and customers to determine their requirements and budget.
Managing proposals from concept formulation through to design and production
Liaising with both internal and external parties on a regular basis to insure deadlines are met and designed materials are of the highest quality.
Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in the new media, particularly design programs such as design QuarkXpress, Freehand, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3ds MaX, Acrobat, Director, Dreamweaver and Flash.

Candidate

You will have completed a degree in graphics designing, software engineering or related and you are artistic and able to conceptualize. You are innovative and creative and you can demonstrate magic the use of designs, motion,video and graphics.
