External Auditor: Basilwizi Trust

Basilwizi Trust is a local NGO currently implementing a four years KNH grant funded project entitled 76803 Citizens’ Campaign for Birth Identity Documents (CICABID).

Basilwizi Trust requires an External Auditor to audit CICABID project for its financial year which started from September 2018 and ended in 31 December 2018.

Auditor is required toPerform a financial audit of CICABID project financial year ending 31 December 2018 to determine its financial status and compliance with policies and procedures of Basilwizi and KNH; Perform auditing and accounting tests to determine the reliability, integrity and internal control system; Examine accounting records such as general ledgers, assets/liability records, income/expenditure accounts, commitments to the government, source documents and payroll journals to verify that transactions have been properly recorded and are in compliance with applicable regulations; Prepare an Audit Report and Management letter with recommendations for corrective action applying professional judgment and interpretation of applicable rules and standards; Submit the annual Audit Report to Basilwizi and KNH by May 2019; Terms of reference will be shared upon request

Qualifications and Experience

Certified Chartered Accountant; Renewed license for the current period; Up to date Tax Clearance and Tax Identity Number Certificates; Five years experience in auditing NGOs.
