To gather information on knowledge levels of communities on school financial management, their roles and responsibilities as well as their level of involvement and participation in school development and governance processes; To gather information on the involvement of learners in school governance processes; To identify gaps in school financial management, school development and school governance processes and give recommendations.

Deliverables

The consultant shall be required to: Produce a draft baseline report; Facilitating a validation meeting with stakeholders from 4 Districts; Finalizing the baseline report

Duration

The assignment is expected to be completed in fifteen (15) days.

Qualification and experience

• Postgraduate degree in social sciences and at least five years of related work experience in the education sector;
• Knowledge of the Zimbabwean education sector;
• Experience in qualitative, quantitative data collection and statistical data analysis;
• Good communication and facilitation skills, with fluency in spoken and written English;
• Knowledge of Shona and and other Zimbabwean languages is an asset.
