ICLEI Africa is the regional headquarters of ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability, serving local authorities across sub-Saharan Africa including Zimbabwe. The organisation supports Zimbabwean municipalities such as Harare and Bulawayo in developing climate-resilient, low-carbon development pathways through technical assistance, capacity building, and access to climate finance. Its work in Zimbabwe encompasses urban food systems, water management, biodiversity protection, and sustainable energy planning tailored to local government needs. ICLEI Africa collaborates with Zimbabwean cities to implement projects aligned with national climate commitments and global sustainability frameworks.
