The Education Coalition of Zimbabwe (ECOZI) is a national civil society network that brings together non-governmental organizations, teacher unions, and community-based groups to advocate for inclusive and equitable education across Zimbabwe. Established in 2009 and registered as a trust, ECOZI operates from its Harare headquarters to influence education policy, monitor government spending on schools, and amplify the concerns of marginalized learners. The coalition coordinates its members to engage with Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, Parliament, and international development partners on issues ranging from school infrastructure to curriculum reform. ECOZI is the Zimbabwean national chapter of the Africa Network Campaign on Education For All, linking local advocacy to continental education initiatives.
