The Sports and Recreation Commission (SRC) is a statutory body established under the Sports and Recreation Commission Act of Zimbabwe. Based in Harare, it serves as the national authority responsible for regulating, developing, and promoting sports and recreational activities across the country. The SRC oversees national sports associations, allocates government funding to sporting disciplines, and implements policies to advance athletic excellence and mass participation. It works to ensure Zimbabwe’s compliance with international sporting standards while fostering talent development from grassroots to elite levels.
