Key Responsibilities
- Reporting & Compliance: IFRS group reporting and full ZIMRA, RBZ and regulatory compliance.
- Finance Team Lead: lead, mentor and build capability, reporting directly to the CEO and Board.
- Treasury & Forex: liquidity, working capital and foreign currency exposure in a multi-currency environment.
- Fundraising: financial models and investment memoranda for banks, private equity and development financiers.
- Investment Appraisal: DCF, NPV and IRR analysis that decides which land gets bought and which deals get done.
- Project Finance: feasibility studies, development budgets, construction funding and drawdowns across live projects.
Requirements
- Requirement: A degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related.
- Qualified: CA, ACCA, CIMA (or working towards) would be an added advantage.
- Seasoned: 5- 7+ years in finance, including at least 3 in a senior finance management role.
- Sector Fluent: hands-on experience in property development, construction, real estate or infrastructure.
- Deal Tested: a track record with project finance, development budgets, banks, investors and auditors.
- Technically Sharp: strong IFRS and Zimbabwean tax legislation knowledge.
