Two (2) District Coordinators: ActionAid

ActionAid Zimbabwe is immediately recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill in opportunities for the food aid Lean Season Assistance (LSA) project supported by World Food Program (WFP) in Makoni and Nyanga on fixed term employment contracts with duration of 3 months.

These positions exist to provide technical support, leadership, coordination, supervision and guidance to the project (Lean Season Assistance programme). To coordinate the implementation, monitor & evaluate the food aid program with Government departments and other implementing partners and oversee the distribution of food to registered beneficiaries. The post holder will be responsible for producing donor reports.

Degree in social science, agriculture-related field, civil engineering or development studies; Minimum four years working experience in community development work delivering food assistance interventions using cash transfer modalities; Prior experience working with WFP funded projects on Lean Season Assistance (LSA) including asset creation; Sound knowledge of project planning and management; Good report writing, facilitation, communication, analytical, presenting and community mobilization skills; Ability to organize own work and work independently; Strong knowledge on donor compliance requirements and grants management; Proficient in computer skills and use of relevant software and other applications
