Project Coordinator: ZNNP+

ZNNP+ is a national umbrella body that represents and coordinates the interests and activities of support groups of People Living with HIV and AIDS (PLHIV) throughout Zimbabwe. ZNNP+ was mandated by the multi-sectoral committee on HIV and AIDS coordinated by NAC to be the national coordinating authority for the PLHIV sector in Zimbabwe. The network was founded in 1992 and officially registered as a non- governmental organization (NGO) in 1999 (Registration number PVO 2/99). ZNNP+ has structures at national, provincial, district, ward and village levels. In line with its operations ZNNP+ invites candidates with relevant skills and expertise for the above-mentioned position.

Key responsibilities
Provide all-round technical support on programmatic needs relating to the PLHIV Stand Up for Your Rights Project; Supervise and manage the performance of project subordinate staff; Manage the project grant and ensure that activities are adequately resourced and properly executed; Reconciles funds advances for all programme activities carried out and submits reconciliations to Finance department; Conducts field visits to monitor and support  implementation of project activities; Establish and maintain regular contact with project partners that include local authority structures, government line ministries and sector departments while periodically representing the organisation at all relevant forum; Collect, compile, collate and analyse relevant monitoring and evaluation data with the support of the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer; Compile periodic project reports; Facilitate the evaluation of the impact of the project in the project areas through analysis of reports, beneficiary surveys and liaising with other stakeholders; Facilitate the identification, tracking and addressing advocacy issues at national and subnational levels through community and national policy dialogues of advocacy issues

Qualifications and experience
The Ideal applicant should have the following qualifications and abilities: Minimum of a Health or Social Science related Degree from an accredited University; A Master’s degree is a distinct advantage; 3-5 years HIV, economic strengthening and Gender related working experience; Excellent understanding of project cycle management tools to ensure effective planning, resourcing, implementation and review of programmes and experience of organisational assessment, planning and review tools and processes; able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of development issues, and be able to convert those into development partnerships and products; Proven experience of working with primary health care ( HIV related), gender, economic strengthening and key populations; Proven experience of working with decision-makers and clinical professionals in the health service and/or social services; Experience of the financial management of budgets, including building a budget, monitoring and managing expenditure; Computer literacy – Competent Data usage: including speedy collation and analysis of complex and high volume data; Must have confidence and experience in external representation; Should demonstrate experience of working positively in a diverse environment; Class 4 driver’s license is a must
