Microcred Zimbabwe has exciting job opportunities for high performers and we are looking for Receptionists (X9) and Client Advisors (X6) to be stationed at our branches spread across the country. These are fixed term appointments and details are as follows:

 

  1. RECEPTIONISTS-Fixed Term Appointment

Main Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible for the following:

Operating Switchboard

  • Attending to all incoming calls
  • Checking reception area cleanliness.
  • Keeping record of Messages for members of staff from clients.

Attending to walk in Clients

  • Direct clients to Respective staff members.
  • Give information to clients from the reception area.

Requisition of Stationery & Groceries

  • Compile list of monthly stationery & groceries.
  • Get quotations from retailers.
  • Issue stationery & Groceries to Loans Officers.

Filling

  • Sort filling documents
  • File documents systematically and in alphabetical order.
  • Pull files for use by all staff.
  • Record out going files for use by staff member.
  • File all branch correspondences.
  • Keep an up-to-date file register.

Handling all mail

  • Send and receive mail on behalf of branch.
  • Keep track of all mail.

Coordination of all branch meetings

  • Taking minutes at all branch meeting.
  • Keeping an up-to-date register of minutes.
  • Ensure necessary documents for the meetings are circulated on time.
  • Arrange for information meetings.

Manage the Branch manager’s diary.

  • Make all travelling and hotel bookings.
  • Make appointments for meetings.

Education/Experience

  • Diploma in Secretarial Studies or equivalent
  • 5 ‘O” Levels with C or better including English Language
  • Two years’ experience in a similar environment

  • Must be an effective communicator (written and oral)
  • Must have analytical skills
  • Mature individual
  • Customer focus and orientation
  • High level of integrity
  • Accurate, organised and motivated

 

  1. CLIENT ADVISORS-Fixed Term Appointment

Main Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible for the following:

Reference Checks

  • Conduct credit and traders reference checks

Prepare full general reports

Customer Creation.

  • Accurate input of customer information from the evaluation forms into the system for account opening form.
  • Completes accurately and timeously the account form

Loan Creation

  • Creates customer loan in the system to enable disbursement
  • Ensures correct loan details are captured in the information system
  • Generates loan repayment schedule and check for accuracy before forwarding it to the Client Service Supervisor
  • Accurately prepares offer letters for submission to the Client Service Supervisor.

Data input and clerical duties

 

Education/Experience

  • Finance Diploma/ Degree or equivalent
  • Solid knowledge, experience and appreciation of computers
  • Two years’ experience in a similar environment

  • High level of integrity

Status: Local fixed term contract with Microcred Zimbabwe.
