MARKETING AND COMMUNICATION MANAGER – NACZ

The National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ) is an agency of Government charged with Development and Promotion and regulation of the Arts. Its functions are, to foster, develop and improve the knowledge, understanding and practice of the arts for the benefit all citizens as enshrined in the national Constitution. NACZ has responsibility to develop the Arts and to promote their access, presentation, performance, execution and exhibition throughout the nation. This entails steering the creative sector towards professionalisation so that it is structured to benefit practitioners, stakeholders and communities.
MARKETING AND COMMUNICATION MANAGER —( 1 Post ) DUTY STATION — Head Office reporting to the Director.
Key Result Areas:
Marketing and resource mobilization for programmes. Be the spokesperson for the organization and prepare speeches and papers for Senior Council Officials. Prepare and Publish NACZ monthly newsletter and magazine. Develop funding models and marketing strategies for the ads.
Qualifications and Experience:
A degree in marketing and knowledge of the arts and culture. Must be computer literate with working knowledge of desktop publishing and web designing. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in marketing, media or public relations and possess a clean class 4 driver’s licence.
