GROUP FINANCE MANAGER

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the Finance & Accounting function, controls and standards of the Group.
  • Developing financial policies and procedures designed to reduce and mitigate business risks.
  • Co-ordinating month-end/quarterly/year end reporting processes within subsidiaries finance teams
  • Preparing accurate and timely consolidated financial reports for the Group in line with IFRS.
  • Preparing consolidated budgets and reviewing all Group payments for timely processing.
  • Liaising with both internal and external auditors to ensure smooth completion of audits.
  • Supervising the subsidiaries Finance Managers
  • Providing the Group with cost reduction strategies through costs analysis reports
  • Preparing and reviewing financial reports for daily/weekly/monthly management meetings.
  • Developing financial and non-financial Key Performance Indicator for the business.

 

Qualification and Experience




  • An advanced university degree (Master’s) in Accounting, Business Administration, Financial Management, Economics, or a directly-related technical field.
  • Full Chartered Accountant (ICAZ, CIMA)
  • A member of any Accounting Board
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a FMCG environment, of which 3 years should be at a senior level position.
