EMPLOYEE RELATIONS and TRAINING OFFICER

Key Responsibilities
■ Manage the relationship between employees and management.
■ To create and apply fair labour practices in line with legislation and advise management on changes in labour statutes.
■ Formation of a workers committee and works council and ensuring that this is done in accordance with the NEC code.
■ Take charge of the whole disciplinary process.
■ To identify training and development needs.
■ Co-ordinate the development and implementation of effective induction programmes and materials.
■ To conduct research on industrial relations issues.
■ To produce weekly and monthly management reports.
■ To prepare an annual training budget for all departments.
■ To organise staff functions




Person Specification
■ Degree in Human Resources Management/Industrial Relations.
■ IPMZ Diploma in Labour Relations
■ At least 3 years’ experience in labour relations practice
■ Aged between 30 and 45 years
