International Medical Corps is a global humanitarian, non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering through health care training and relief and development programs. International Medical Corps seeks to recruit a Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Consultant to conduct a rapid WASH needs assessment in Binga District.

Duties And Responsibilities
Scope of work
The consultant will be responsible for: Proposing the most relevant and reliable methodology and design of the assessment; S/he will design data collection tools/questionnaires, and perform translation into local language for ease of use by evaluation team members if needed; Identify and train enumerators; Collate relevant secondary data; Supervise the collection of data; Analyse data and present findings to International Medical Corps and relevant stakeholders; Link findings to the prevailing food insecurity situation and propose WASH interventions to contribute to improved WASH at community level; Compile and submit a quality and comprehensive assessment report.

Qualifications And Experience
Qualifications of Consultant
The assignment is open to national individual consultants that can demonstrate technical and operational capacity to carry out the assessment. The Consultant must have at minimum a master degree in Public Health, Environmental Health or a related discipline with at least five (5) years of work experience in or with MoHCC and/or NGOs, and proven experience in qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis and demonstrate experience in research and development work related to program evaluations. The Consultant should have experience in use of mobile data collection and mapping of GPS Coordinates. Experience in gender mainstreaming and proficiency in local languages (Tonga and isiNdebele) is a Must.

The Consultant shall submit an expression of interest (must not exceed 10 pages) detailing proposed work plan, methodology, analysis framework and budget. The Consultant must include statement of competency in the area, proof of previous work done. Timeline: The consultancy will be conducted between 17 February 2020 and 18 March 2020.
