Applications are invited for positions that have arisen in our Destination Inspection Division at Standards Association of Zimbabwe. Destination Inspection relates to the inspection of general goods and used motor vehicles that will be undertaken in support of the Consignment Based Conformity Assessment (CBCA) programme.
Main Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

 Manages the day to day operations of the Destination Inspection Division reporting to Technical Services Director
 Ensures compliance to applicable statutory, regulatory, policy and system procedures requirements
 Liaison person with relevant stakeholders in the day to day execution of Destination Inspection
 Ensures that inspections are done efficiently and reports generated timeously.
 Prepares periodic reports for management information.
 Identifies individual and divisional training needs through performance appraisals.

Qualifications and Experience

Degree in Engineering/ Chemical and Food Technology
Relevant Masters’ degree is an added advantage
Clean Class Four Drivers’ licence a must
5 years of work experience in the area of Inspection, Testing of products and regulatory compliance
Must have good report writing, communication, and customer care skills
Knowledge /training in ISO/IEC17020 and Inspections skills
