Job Summary
An entity in the fintech sector requires a dynamic and energetic Marketing Manager to join its team. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, establishing, and maintaining marketing strategies, and managing all research, advertising, promotional, and public relations activities in support of the company’s overall strategy. The company is pursuing a growth strategy and requires someone who is bold and can drive growth by giving the brand the required visibility.
Duties And Responsibilities
- a) Designing, implementing, and facilitating annual marketing strategies.
b) Facilitating the development of annual marketing plans.
c) Translating business strategies and objectives to prepare brand objectives to facilitate growth.
d) Identifying and implementing effective stakeholder relations through CSR and CSI activities as well as regular media engagement.
e) Developing and implementing an effective communications policy in support of the company’s strategy.
f) Researching, analyzing and monitoring current financial, technological, demographic, and other relevant factors to identify opportunities that the company can capitalize on and minimize the effects of competitor activity.
g) Spearheading the development of new products and their marketing and promotion and monitoring their uptake.
h) Building and developing a marketing team that is competent, commercially astute and efficient.

Qualifications And Experience
EDUCATION
A First degree in Marketing or Business plus a relevant professional qualification.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years in marketing preferably in a financial institution or related services at a senior level.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

3. Proficient use of computers – digital and tech-savvy
4. Good communication skills, both verbal and written
5. Polished presentation and interpersonal skills
6. Good leadership skills
7. Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision

10. Self-motivated
