The Job

The Person
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
– A Degree in Social Sciences/ Human Resources Management
– A minimum of three years corporate training experience.
– Excellent communication skills with an ability to communicate at all levels.
– Results Oriented
– Competent in using the following Microsoft programmes- Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Access.
– Ability to use SPSS will be an added advantage
– Ability to work under Pressure

Financial Accountant – Mutare based – Agro Industry
The role reports to the Financial Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Financial accounting – preparation of half-year and annual financial statements for publication
Audit preparation for half-year review and annual external audit
Financial and Budgetary Control of revenue and expenditure
Fixed assets and stock accounting
Implementation and Maintenance of Efficient and Effective Policies and Operating Systems
Preparation and submission of Zimra and other regulatory returns

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent
CA/Articles of Clerkship or ACCA
3 years relevant experience in financial accounting, regulatory compliance and external audit management
Strong excel and financial modeling skills
Knowledge of Syspro Accounting system an added advantage
Experience in a manufacturing environment an added advantage
Sound applied technical knowledge of IFRS and International Accounting Standards
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Effective Leadership, Supervisory, Communication, Interpersonal and Problem solving skills
