BACKGROUND and JUSTIFICATION
Pangaea Zimbabwe AIDS Trust (PZAT) is the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) partner, of I-TECH (International Training and Education Center for Health) Zimbabwe’s consortium to implement a PEPFAR funded HIV care and treatment grant, in support of the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC).
QUALIFICATIONS
Health-related background with relevant M&E training
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Public Health or related field is require
2. MPH would be an added advantag
3. Minimum of 5 years working experience managing, analysing and reporting, health related program/project data and information.
4. Experience working with DHIS2
5. Excellent computer skills including but not limited to, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
6. Advanced skills in MS Excel, including pivot-tables, formatting, statistical functions and formulas.
7. Strong quantitative data analysis skills, including conducting data cleaning, verification and trend-analyse Proficiency in at least one statistical software package e.g. STATA, SAS or SPSS is a must.
8. Excellent report writing and presentation skills, including fluency in English and one or more of the local languages spoken (e.g. Shona and/or Ndebele).
9. Great inter-personal skills and demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
10. Experience with working with MoHCC and/or implementing partner health-related programs, with a strong understanding of the Zimbabwe health care system structures, are strongly encourage

TERMS OF REFERENCE
Title: Senior ICT Officer
Location: Harare, Zimbabwe

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience within the ICT technical field
 Demonstrated ability to trouble shoot, problem solve and propose functional solutions to program management.
 Performance oriented, effective planning and ability to deliver results consistently.
 Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate implications of various technology choices to management who are primarily non-technical (ICT).
 Effective written and oral communication with ability to produce reports and present solutions.
 Bachelor’s degree or higher within information technologies, or substantial working experience within relevant fields and have obtained and maintained relevant certificates.
 Professional knowledge of network technologies and Windows clients.
 Experience in handling servers and related access management control.
 Ability to work independently to troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, identify and isolate technical issues.
 Willing to take ownership of any technical issues arising and exerting requisite effort and expertise required until issues are resolved.
 Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team, foster team work and collaborate with a diverse group of partners and stakeholders.
 Excellent organizational skills, well-structured and with integrated system thinking perspective.
