The international network of Action Contre la Faim is represented in Paris, London, Madrid, New York and Montreal. Teams in the field combat hunger on four fronts: nutrition, food security, health, water and sanitation.

Action Contre La Faim Zimbabwe seeks to fill this vacancy for a 6 month Food Assistance Project based on voucher distribution in Mberengwa together with Nutrition trainings conducted by a Local Partner.

Reporting to the Project Coordinator, the Food Assistance PM is expected to have an understanding and knowledge of the Food Security sector within the Zimbabwean context; Experience in management of food assistance program through voucher transfer. The candidate must have excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.

Main objectives of the position
Implement vouchers distribution and nutrition education activities; Represent ACF and liaise with local authorities, NGO partners at field and national level; Ensure reporting and communication and develop the understanding of humanitarian context in the intervention area; Budget management in compliance with ACF and donor rules; Supervise and manage the team as Head of Field office; Manage security at field level

Education and experience
Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences; Project management experience essential in voucher distribution and management; Project management experience essential; Previous experience in an international humanitarian organisation; Food Assistance experience essential

Required skills
Good knowledge of voucher schemes; At ease with communication and representation in technical and non-technical for a; Computer Knowledge necessary: Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet Explorer; Strong Program Management skills (HR, finances, logistics, M&E etc.); Good analytical and reporting (in English) capacity; Strong Training and team management skills; Proactive
