Finance Assistant: Local NGO

A local NGO would like to fill a vacancy of Finance Assistant that has
arisen in the organisation.


Main Duties

-Processing of payments and stamping processed transactions
-Maintaining a sound filing system of all financial documents, including payment vouchers, copies of contracts, correspondence etc
-Capturing data within agreed deadlines
-Updating of monthly exchange rates
-Assisting in compiling documents in preparation for audits
-Reconciliation of and monitoring staff debtors’ balances

-Assist in updating the assets inventory register
– Provide administrative support services to Programme staff
-Maintain the office petty cash, ensuring all paper work is completed and all expenditure is accounted.
-Any other duties may be assigned by management.


Minimum Requirements:

-Diploma in accounting
-At least two years experience in the accounting field

-Good communication and computer skills-Ms Excel

-Sound knowledge of financial operating packages – Pastel

-Class 4 driver’s license

-The applicant should be a resident of Mutare
