FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER

About this job

We have been retained by our client, a medium sized entity in the financial
services sector to help fill the above position which calls for a highly qualified,
competent and experienced person. This is a senior position within their
management structure and is based in Harare.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·    Formulate, design and implement financial controls
·    Produce annual financial statements
·    Prepare budgets and forecasts
·    Review monthly management accounts
·    Participate in the year-end audit, compile and prepare supporting
schedules, work papers, and financial reports as requested by auditors
·    Prepare and timely submit statutory returns
·    Perform company secretarial duties
·    Manage creditors and purchasing functions
·    Manage the finance and administration teams
·    Actively participate in middle office management, treasury and liquidity management

PERSON SPECIFICATION

·    Must be a Chartered Accountant
·    At least 2 years post qualification experience in the financial services sector
·    Must have served articles of clerkship in an audit firm
·    Must have working knowledge of middle office and treasury management
NB: This post is on a renewable fixed term contract basis.
