Finance Manager Systems and Processes
1. Lead organization wide business process documentation and optimization to meet Industry best practice standards
2. Develop process improvement strategy including optimization, streamlining and simplification of core processes, 3. Undertake systems maintenance tasks and work with the technical support teams like IT to ensure that the reliability and performance of the ERP system and related interfaces are maximized. 4. Meat with system owners, decision makers, and end users to define the business financial operations requirements, goods, and identify and resolve issues. Define the scope of work, deliverables. timeframes, and methodology. 5. Period reviews to ensure adaptation to the evolving business requirements. 6. Improve the business processes and operations u prototyping and developing new financial systems enhancements. 7. Review and analyze pre-existing financial systems for its effectiveness 8. Develop better financial reporting systems, pricing and modelling tools, and dashboards. 9. Creating and maintaining technical, project planning, and documentation of business processes. 10. Manage technical requirements and setup financial systems to maintain backups, updates, and develop improvements
11. Supporting and educating data owners to drive improvement in the integrity of master data and managing how data flows effectively between systems 12. Maintenance of finance system data structures including chart of accounts, customer and supplier accounts, user accounts, budget data 13. Assistance on financial systems implementation projects 14. Providing documentation, support and ad-hoc training to systems users
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant 4 years working experience in an Audit firm,1 of which should be at a supervisory/ managerial position Experience in advanced use of ERP systems Strong experience in internal audit and internal systems design and review Exposure to Telecommunications and/or Banking is an added advantage.
Strong report writing skills Must have excellent technical and practical skills in financial modelling and financial management. Must have a thorough understanding of internal controls and risk management. Pays attention to detail. Can work with cross functional teams.
